ABBA The Museum, part of Pophouse Entertainment, is an interactive and vibrant attraction in Stockholm dedicated to celebrating the iconic legacy of ABBA. We are now seeking a skilled Demand Planner to strengthen our team. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, particularly during high-demand seasons, while contributing to growth strategies and improved profitability.
Purpose of the role
This position is critical to driving sales growth, improving margins, and building best practices for inventory management. Key contributions include ensuring seasonal inventory availability, identifying efficiency opportunities, and scaling processes to meet the demands of a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities

Demand planning: Use sales forecasts, historical data, and new product launches to plan inventory needs, ensuring bestsellers are always in stock. Present monthly demand plans and propose solutions for risks or opportunities.

Inventory management: Maintain accurate stock levels, address slow-moving or excess inventory, and reconcile discrepancies through audits. Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs).

Procurement & buying: Place purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and resolve quality or delivery issues. Research new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities while ensuring accurate product specifications in systems.
- Analysis & reporting: Track KPIs like forecast accuracy and inventory turnover. Provide actionable insights and support budgeting initiatives to align inventory decisions with company goals.
Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, we are looking for you who have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in retail merchandise planning, preferably in fashion or entertainment merchandise.
- Proven success in scaling processes within a high-growth environment while maintaining a balance between commercial goals and brand integrity.
In addition to these qualifications, you should possess strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or similar planning tools, allowing you to make data-driven decisions with precision. Exceptional communication abilities are crucial, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. Your capacity to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines will be key to managing the demands of a fast-paced environment. If you have a creative eye or an interest in design, it will be a welcome addition to your skill set.
